Vivian Pollard served with the 16th Australian Infantry Battalion of the Australian Imperial Force in WWI. His service number was 1852 and he held the rank of Private.
He died in France on 12 August 1916 aged 30 and is commemorated at the Villers-Bretonneux Memorial, Villers-Bretonneux, Picardie, France
His name is located at panel 80 in the Commemorative Area at the Australian War Memorial in Canberra.
